Location: Remote
I have a collection of PDFs that need to be broken down into their component data and rebuilt inside a single, well-organised Excel workbook. The job covers three distinct elements:
Tables – All tables are simple, without nesting or merged cells. Each should arrive in Excel as fully editable, cleanly separated rows and columns, with standard Excel formatting (header row bold, gridlines on, numerical columns recognised as numbers).
Text – Any narrative or paragraph content that sits outside the tables should be copied into its own worksheet. Please keep the original reading order and place each block in a separate row so it can be filtered or searched later.
Images – Every image in the PDF must be extracted in its original resolution, saved separately (PNG or JPG is fine), and referenced in the workbook by filename so I can cross-check quickly.
Accuracy is more important than speed; I will run spot checks against the source files. Deliver the finished .xlsx file plus an “images” folder in a single compressed archive. If you automate part of the process, great—just make sure the final result is human-verified.
