I’m producing a new series of 10–15-minute YouTube documentaries that dive deep into Formula 1 personalities, with a special focus on driver profiles. Each episode must open with a powerful hook, build tension through cinematic storytelling, and keep viewers glued until the final frame. The tone I’m after is dramatic and intense—think high-stakes rivalries, split-second decisions, and the roar of the paddock captured in words.
Topics on my immediate slate include:
• Max Verstappen’s rise and future legacy
• Ferrari’s modern era under the microscope
• Iconic F1 rivalries, controversies, and pivotal moments in racing history
Every script should:
• Run roughly 2,000–2,500 words (10–15 minutes when voiced)
• Weave verified facts and statistics into a narrative arc that feels almost cinematic
• Include natural retention cues such as cliff-hanger transitions and compelling mid-roll teases
• Read cleanly for voice-over—short sentences, vivid verbs, no clutter
In addition, I’d like a concise thumbnail concept for each video: a working title, one-sentence visual idea, and suggested colour/emotion cues that match the episode’s mood.
Deliverables for each episode
1. Full documentary script in Google Docs (or Word) with time stamps for key beats
2. Separate list of on-screen text or lower thirds, if any
3. Thumbnail concept sheet as outlined above
I review scripts primarily for hook strength, narrative flow, factual accuracy, and overall watch-time potential. If you live and breathe Formula 1 and can write with cinematic flair, let’s bring these stories to life.
