I need structured one-on-one sessions over the next four weeks to move from BIM beginner to a confident Navisworks user who can work to typical company standards. Scope of the lessons
• Fundamentals of BIM theory and how it differs from my current CAD workflow
• Complete Navisworks interface walk-through, project setup, file coordination, and model aggregation
• Clash detection, issue tracking, and report generation that aligns with common contractor and consultant standards
• 4D simulation and basic quantity take-off to integrate scheduling and costing
• Tips for exporting, presenting, and sharing models so they pass internal QA/QC reviews
Delivery & schedule
• Live online classes (screen-sharing) spread across four weeks—ideally two or three sessions per week
• Short homework tasks after each class so I can practise and send you the file for feedback
• A small capstone exercise by the end of week four: merging discipline models, running clashes, and creating a 4D timeline
Acceptance criteria
1. I can set up a federated Navisworks model from scratch without assistance.
2. I can produce a clash report and resolve at least 80 % of issues independently.
3. The final 4D simulation meets the timeline requirements we agree on during the course planning call.
If you have teaching experience and can share real-world project files for demonstration purposes, I’ll be able to absorb concepts faster. Sessions should be recorded (Zoom, Teams, or similar) so I can replay them later.
