Seeking Full-Stack AI Developer/Agency for "Human-in-the-Loop" EdTech Content Generation Platform
Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack AI Developer or a specialized AI development agency to build a robust, AI-powered content generation "wrapper" for our EdTech company.
The goal of this platform is to empower our in-house content creators. Instead of the AI acting entirely autonomously, a human content creator will upload foundational materials (PDFs, course overviews) into the system. The platform will then use various AI models and media APIs to generate drafts of course materials (video lectures, podcast-style audio, editable presentations, and mock tests). The human creator will then review, edit, and finalize these assets within the platform before rendering.
Core Features & Technical Requirements
We require a dashboard/interface for our team to interact with the AI and manage the generated assets. The required feature modules include:
1. Data Ingestion & RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Ability to upload raw PDFs and course overviews.
System must accurately parse text, tables, and basic diagrams to use as context for content generation.
Suggested tools: LlamaParse, Pinecone/Milvus, OpenAI models.
2. LLM Orchestration & Script Generation
AI generation of highly structured course outlines, lecture scripts, and quiz questions based strictly on the uploaded source materials.
Human-in-the-loop interface: The content creator must be able to review, edit, and approve all generated text scripts before they are sent to expensive media APIs (like video/audio).
3. Media Synthesis Integrations (API Connections)
Video: Integration with HeyGen API to generate presenter-led videos from the approved text scripts.
Audio: Integration with ElevenLabs API to generate dual-host, conversational audio overviews (podcast style) from the source materials.
4. Document & Assessment Generation
Editable Presentations: The AI must generate structured slide decks (e.g., using Markdown-to-PPTX compilers like Marp) so our team can download and manually edit the PowerPoint files natively.
Assessments: Generation of structured question banks (beginner to advanced) exportable to our existing LMS or as JSON/CSV.
5. Asynchronous Processing & Backend
Because media generation (video/audio) takes time, the backend must handle asynchronous API calls without timing out.
Suggested tools: Node.js or Python (FastAPI/Django), Celery/Redis for task queues, AWS/Cloud infrastructure for hosting.
What We Are NOT Looking For
We do not need a fully autonomous multi-agent system that runs without human intervention.
We do not need complex adaptive machine learning pathways or integrated coding sandboxes at this stage.
This is an internal productivity tool for our staff, so the UI needs to be functional and clean, but does not need to be a polished, consumer-facing SaaS product.
Deliverables & Milestones
Please structure your proposal and quotation based on the following milestones:
Architecture & UI/UX Wireframing: System design and dashboard layout.
Core RAG & Text Generation: PDF ingestion and editable script/quiz generation.
Media API Integration: Connecting HeyGen (video), ElevenLabs (audio), and PPTX generation.
Testing, Debugging & Deployment: Ensuring asynchronous tasks do not fail and the system is deployed securely on our cloud infrastructure.
