I have several months of financial reports and I need a clear, Excel-based descriptive statistics summary that focuses solely on profitability—specifically gross profit margin. I will hand over the raw statements; you will import them, clean anything that prevents accurate aggregation, and build the formulas that calculate gross profit margin by product line and by period.
Alongside the numbers, I also want a concise written interpretation inside the workbook so any stakeholder can open the file, glance at the figures, and understand the trend. A simple chart or two that visually tracks margin movement over time will finish the job nicely. Everything must stay in Excel—no external add-ins—so that I can maintain and update the workbook myself later.
One Excel workbook with clean data sheets, calculation sheets, dynamic charts, and a brief narrative tab.
Formulas and pivot tables left unlocked for transparency.
