I want to build a full-featured live-streaming application for both iOS and Android that mirrors the earning mechanics and overall experience of Niki Live. Users must be able to go live instantly, watch others in real time, send and receive virtual coins, and convert their in-app earnings into cash once they hit preset thresholds.
Core experience
• Smooth, low-latency live streams with HD and SD switching.
• In-stream chat that updates instantly, works in busy rooms, and lets viewers attach paid stickers or gifts.
• A virtual coin wallet: viewers buy coins through in-app purchase, trade or gift them during shows, and broadcasters see their coin balance convert to earnings in a separate dashboard.
• Email-and-password sign-up with optional guest browsing; later we can add social logins, but basic email auth must be solid from day one.
Flow I have in mind
A new user registers via email, tops up coins, joins a live room, starts chatting, and gifts coins. The host’s balance updates in real time. When the host has enough coins, a “Cash-out” button appears that triggers an admin review and payout process (PayPal, bank transfer, or similar—happy to hear your suggestion).
Deliverables
1. Universal codebase (Flutter or React Native preferred, but I’m open) compiled for iOS & Android.
2. Admin panel to manage users, review cash-out requests, and adjust coin-to-cash rates.
3. Complete source code, build instructions, and one round of bug-fix support after TestFlight / internal testing.
Acceptance criteria
• Live stream delay under three seconds on 4G.
• Coin transactions reflected within one second on both viewer and host screens.
• Successful App Store & Google Play submission passes first review.
If you have handled streaming with tools like Agora, Wowza, or similar SDKs, and can integrate secure payment gateways for coin purchase, your experience will be a perfect fit. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on milestones and timeline.
