Government Compliant Info Website
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Government Compliant Info Website.
Location: Remote
The assignment is to design and develop a professional website whose single, clear mission is information dissemination. All published material will consist of official guidelines and policies, so the interface must project authority while remaining easy to navigate for citizens, agencies, and auditors alike.
Government compliance is non-negotiable. Every page, component, and workflow has to adhere to current WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility criteria, applicable data-privacy acts, and the visual identity rules that govern public-sector branding (colour contrast, typography, logo placement, etc.). Security headers, HTTPS everywhere, and clean, documented code are expected from day one.
I prefer a modern CMS (WordPress, Drupal, or a lightweight headless stack) that allows non-technical staff to update content quickly without breaking design consistency. Responsive behaviour across the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge is essential.
