Cisco Meraki SD-WAN Deployment -- 2
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Cisco Meraki SD-WAN Deployment -- 2.
Location: Remote
Our infrastructure is ready for a major uplift: I am replacing a flat WatchGuard/Ubiquiti environment with a full Cisco Meraki hub-and-spoke SD-WAN. The topology is straightforward—one headquarters that will act as the primary hub, a DR site that will serve as a secondary hub, and four branch offices that will connect as spokes.
What you'll do:
• Design a Meraki architecture that introduces proper VLAN segmentation, Auto-VPN, traffic shaping, and advanced security while mapping cleanly to the existing IP ranges.
• Create and document a migration plan covering staging, test, pilot, full production rollout, fallback steps, and post-implementation verification.
• Walk me through Meraki Dashboard best practices (templates, firmware control, alerting, client tracking) so ongoing management is simple and secure.
• Deliver concise runbooks and diagrams that the internal team can maintain long-term.
Skills: System Admin, Technical Writing, Cisco, Network Administration, Documentation, SD-WAN, Network Security, Network Monitoring
Budget: $50–$100 USD

The topology is straightforward—one headquarters that will act as the primary hub, a DR site that will serve as a secondary hub, and four branch offices that will connect as spokes.
Here is what I need from you:
• Design a Meraki architecture that introduces proper VLAN segmentation, Auto-VPN, traffic shaping, and advanced security while mapping cleanly to the existing IP ranges.
• Produce a configuration set for MX security appliances, MS access/distribution switches, and any required SFP or PoE considerations so the cut-over is as close to “plug and play” as possible.
I’ll provide current network drawings, device counts, and WAN circuit details once we kick off. A smooth transition with minimal downtime is critical, so please include any prerequisites you need from my side to make that happen.
