We are a growing e-commerce brand based in the UK, currently selling hardware products (specifically padlocks and key safe boxes) on Amazon UK/EU. Our products are manufactured in China and exported. To protect our supply chain from trademark squatting, we need a qualified intellectual property professional/agent to conduct a pre-filing search and handle direct registration with the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration).
Requirements:
• Proven experience with CNIPA trademark filings (direct portal access).
• Deep understanding of China’s unique trademark sub-class system.
• Fluent in written English to communicate search risks and progress updates.
• Ability to provide the official CNIPA filing receipt/application number quickly after submission.

Scope of Work:
Pre-Filing Availability Search: Conduct a comprehensive search on the CNIPA database for the brand name under Class 6. We need you to check for identical and confusingly similar marks, paying specific attention to the necessary Chinese sub-classes relevant to padlocks and key safes. Provide a brief risk assessment report.
Trademark Application Filing: If the search is clear, prepare and submit the trademark application directly to the CNIPA.
Application Ownership: The trademark must be registered under our UK Limited Company name (not the manufacturer).
