I’m ready to launch an online clothing store inspired by the seamless shopping experience on Shein, and I need a developer–designer who can translate that standard into a custom build with PHP and Laravel—no Shopify, no WordPress.
The site’s core is straightforward: it must let shoppers browse a large catalogue, search and filter products quickly, create their own accounts, fill a shopping cart, and check out smoothly with secure payment processing. On the back end I want an intuitive admin panel where I can manage inventory, images, orders, and promotions without touching code.
Because fashion is visual, responsive layout and crisp UI/UX are critical. I already have branding direction and product photography queued up, so once the framework is in place I can begin loading content right away.
Key deliverables
• Clean, well-structured Laravel codebase connected to MySQL (or MariaDB)
• Front-end views that mirror modern fashion sites, optimised for desktop and mobile
• Registration/login, profile management, and password-reset flows
• Shopping cart tied to a secure checkout with at least one major payment gateway integrated
• Fast product search with category, size, colour, and price filters
• Basic SEO best practices baked in (pretty URLs, meta tags, sitemap)
• Documentation for deployment and routine maintenance
Acceptance criteria
1. Pages load in under 2 s on a mid-tier hosting plan.
2. Checkout passes at least one live transaction test.
3. Admin can add a new product (fields + images) and see it appear correctly on the storefront without developer assistance.
4. Code runs without errors on PHP 8.x in production mode.
If this fits your skill set and you have examples of Laravel e-commerce builds, let’s discuss timelines and milestones so we can get the store online quickly and professionally.
