Youth Football NCAA-Style Game Development

Краткое

Freelancer Client is hiring: Youth Football NCAA-Style Game Development.

Location: Remote

I plan to build a full-scale American football game that channels the depth and polish of NCAA Football 12, but with middle-school athletes at its core. The target is a simultaneous PC and console release, so the codebase needs to be platform-agnostic (Unity, Unreal 5, or a comparable cross-platform engine).

Single-player career: players guide one athlete from local tryouts through district championships, complete with training mini-games, stat growth, and off-field choices that affect progression.

Multiplayer (online and local): head-to-head matches with balanced matchmaking and private lobbies.

Quick Play: instant pick-up games with pre-made middle-school teams for fast sessions.

Gameplay should feel authentic—11-on-11 rules, playbooks scaled to youth football, and age-appropriate animations, tackling physics, and field dimensions. Commentary, crowd audio, and UI can echo the broadcast style of NCAA 12 while keeping a lighter, younger tone.

Skills: Mobile App Development, iPhone, Game Design, 3D Modelling, 3D Animation, Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, Unity

Budget: $750–$1500 USD

I plan to build a full-scale American football game that channels the depth and polish of NCAA Football 12, but with middle-school athletes at its core. The target is a simultaneous PC and console release, so the codebase needs to be platform-agnostic (Unity, Unreal 5, or a comparable cross-platform engine).

Core features I need implemented:
• Single-player career: players guide one athlete from local tryouts through district championships, complete with training mini-games, stat growth, and off-field choices that affect progression.
• Multiplayer (online and local): head-to-head matches with balanced matchmaking and private lobbies.
• Quick Play: instant pick-up games with pre-made middle-school teams for fast sessions.

Art & audio scope:
• Stylized but realistic character models sized for 11- to 14-year-olds.
• Customizable uniforms, mascots, and school colors.
• Stadium environments inspired by typical middle-school fields—bleachers, marching bands, and local sponsors.
• Original soundtrack that leans upbeat and energetic.

Technical & delivery expectations:
1. Pre-production design document outlining mechanics, feature list, and asset requirements.
2. Vertical slice demonstrating core gameplay, AI, and two-way online play.
3. Alpha build with full rule set, at least four teams, and complete single-player loop.
4. Beta covering all game modes, UI polish, and cross-platform performance pass.
5. Gold master ready for submission to Steam/PC storefronts and current-gen consoles.

Source control (Git or Perforce), weekly playable builds, and clear milestone reports keep us aligned. All code and assets must be original or properly licensed.

If you can recreate the strategic depth and fluid controls of NCAA 12 while celebrating youth football’s unique atmosphere, this is the project.
