Squash Ball Trajectory Annotation

Summary

Freelancer Client is hiring: Squash Ball Trajectory Annotation.

Location: Remote

I have a new batch of squash recordings—more than five complete matches, running a total of roughly 30-60 minutes—that now need precise, frame-level ball tracking. You will receive the original MP4 files together with a minimal JSON schema; each frame must contain the ball’s position recorded as a bounding box, since that is my preferred format for this dataset.

Feel free to work in CVAT, VIA, V7, or any comparable modern annotation platform. Automated interpolation is absolutely welcome, but whenever the tracker drifts or loses the ball I expect manual corrections so the marker stays locked on every frame from serve through the end of each rally. When I play the footage back with the overlay, there should be no visible lag, jump, or disappearance.

One JSON file per video, perfectly matching the provided schema

Output that re-imports cleanly into my pipeline and visually follows the ball without drift

Once the files pass that simple playback check, the job is complete.

Skills: Video Processing, Computer Vision

Budget: $2–$8 USD
