Freelancer Client is hiring: Cairo Dialect TV Subtitling.
Location: Remote
I have a TV-show episode spoken entirely in the Cairo dialect of Egyptian Arabic and I need complete, frame-accurate subtitles added. The show is pure entertainment, so timing, comedic beats and local slang all have to land perfectly on screen.
I've already generated the subtitles in .srt format, you just need to edit them and touch them up because a few words are wrong. It is 45 minutes per episode and i will pay per episode.
Your task is to listen closely, transcribe every spoken line exactly as heard, then sync each segment to the video so it reads naturally and keeps pace with the dialogue. If there are background shouts, song lyrics, or overlapping jokes, include them only when they advance the scene—no clutter.
Please deliver a clean, UTF-8 encoded subtitle file (SRT or VTT is fine) with in/out timecodes formatted to industry standard. I’ll provide the full-resolution video once we start; you return the subtitle file ready for direct upload to the editing suite. Accuracy, consistency in spelling, and smooth readability are critical acceptance criteria.
