I'm seeking a skilled designer and fabricator to create a set of mechanical wings for a cosplay costume. The wings should open and retract using a mechanical mechanism, such as gears and pulleys.
Requirements:
• Cosplay/Costume Purpose: The wings are intended for a costume, so they should be visually impressive and suitable for a cosplay setting, the wings will be attached to a leather harness/ suspenders.
• Mechanical Mechanism: The wings should open and retract using a reliable mechanical system, such as gears and pulleys, preferably controllable through an app.
• Lightweight Metal Construction: The wings should be primarily constructed from lightweight metals, such as aluminum, to ensure they are manageable to wear.
• Ideal Skills and Experience:
• Experience in mechanical design and fabrication
• Proficiency in working with lightweight metals like aluminum
Nice to have:
• Please provide examples of similar work and a rough timeline for project completion.
