I’m producing a steady stream of vertical content for both YouTube Shorts and TikTok and I need a sharp-eyed editor who can turn raw clips and audio into thumb-stopping, share-worthy lyric videos. Every piece must feel fresh, fast and visually inventive—think jumpy cuts, kinetic typography that hits on the beat, and seamless transitions that keep the viewer locked in for the full 15–60 seconds.
You handle the syncing lyrics word-for-word, designing text animations that pop without losing readability, and weaving in clever transitions so the footage never feels static. Glitches, light leaks and other visual FX are optional bonuses if you already have a creative idea, but the must-haves are crisp animated lyrics and smooth scene changes.
Footage always needs to ship in 9:16, 1080×1920, encoded ready for upload. Quick turnarounds (24-48 h) are typical, so an efficient workflow in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or a similar tool is essential.
