I’m planning to launch a fully-functional blog / online magazine and I need an experienced developer to build the application from the ground up. The core requirement is a smooth, secure user-comment feature that lets readers join the conversation beneath each article.
The overall flow I have in mind:
• A clean, responsive front-end that highlights long-form content and images nicely on both desktop and mobile.
• An intuitive back-office or CMS (WordPress, Headless CMS + React, or another framework you’re comfortable with) so I can publish, edit and schedule posts without touching code.
• Robust comment management: threaded replies, basic moderation tools, spam control and email notifications for new replies.
If you have ideas for optional extras such as social media integrations or a member-only area, I’m open to hearing them, but the comment system is the must-have.
Please outline:
1. The tech stack you recommend and why.
2. Estimated timeline broken into key milestones (design mock-up, MVP, final deployment).
3. Post-launch support or maintenance you can offer.
