My WordPress site already promotes my weekly art classes; now I need it to sell and manage 10-lesson packs that expire 14 weeks after purchase.
When a student buys a pack online, the system must instantly enrol them in the next ten consecutive classes that match the day and time they chose. In the studio I want a simple roll-taking screen: one click marks them present, deducts a credit from their pack, and stores the attendance record.
I still accept cash and bank transfers, so I need an admin panel where I can create a student manually, add or subtract credits, or even delete a class from their schedule if they cancel. Each student should receive a purchase (or manual-entry) confirmation, routine email reminders of upcoming classes, and an automatic alert when only three lessons remain in their pack.
From my side, I’d like to pull clear attendance summaries and credit balances—downloadable for bookkeeping at any time. The site runs a custom-coded WordPress theme; extending WooCommerce or creating a lightweight plugin is fine as long as it stays maintainable and doesn’t break existing pages.
Deliverables
• A WordPress solution (plugin or custom extension) that creates 10-lesson products with a 14-week expiry timer
• Auto-enrolment logic assigning the next ten classes based on the buyer’s chosen slot
• Attendance interface that deducts credits in real time and logs each visit
• Admin tools for manual student creation and credit adjustment
• Email workflow: confirmation on purchase/entry, weekly reminders, and a “3 credits left” alert
• Exportable attendance and credit reports (CSV)
Let me know how you would tackle this, what similar credit-based or scheduling systems you have built, and a realistic timeline to get it live.
