grandMA3 & Vectorworks Lighting Tutoring

Краткое

Freelancer Client is hiring: grandMA3 & Vectorworks Lighting Tutoring.

Location: Remote

I’m refining a show file that travels from pre-viz to the stage and need focused, one-on-one guidance to tighten up three key areas: grandMA3 programming (specifically cue lists), Vectorworks workflow, and general lighting concepts such as rigging, channel hook-up, and building an efficient magic sheet. With label legends

. I already understand basic patching and layouts on grandMA2 not MA3; what I’m missing is a rock-solid approach to structuring cue lists so the show remains flexible on tour. I’d like to walk through best-practice syntax, tracking theory, and tricks that keep updates clean when looks change at the last minute.

In parallel, I want to streamline my Vectorworks drawing so it exports clean data for MA-import and paperwork. Practical tips on layer organisation, symbol use, and generating plots that match the console workflow will be invaluable.

Sessions can be screen-sharing via Zoom or a similar platform. I’ll supply the current MA3 show file, Vectorworks drawing, plus reference photos and fixture counts so you have real material to demonstrate on.

Deliverables after each session:
• Updated grandMA3 show file with annotated cue lists
• Revised Vectorworks file aligned to the new programming structure
• A tidy channel hook-up and printable magic sheet reflecting all changes

Clear explanations, step-by-step demonstrations, and a short set of written notes that capture each lesson will confirm everything sticks. Once those pieces are solid, we can discuss extending into effects or macros, but right now tight cue execution is the goal.
