Freelancer Client is hiring: AI Recruitment Workflow Automation.
Location: Remote
I need a small-scale, cloud-hosted system that can manage my recruitment flow end to end with only minimal upkeep. Each time a vacancy opens, around eight to ten times a year, résumés arrive in a dedicated Gmail inbox. The moment they land there I want the solution to:
detect and skip duplicate applicants
pull the attached CV (PDF, DOCX, etc.) and parse it
save every candidate’s core details in BOTH a lightweight database (Firestore or similar) and a Google Sheet for quick ad-hoc access
Next, an AI layer should screen each profile against a job description and shortlist on three dimensions I will supply per role: educational qualifications, relevant work experience and key skills / keywords. From that shortlisting, the system must create a simple web dashboard that at minimum shows:

Google Apps Script combined with Gemini API (or an equivalent LLM endpoint) feels like the right low-maintenance stack, but I’m open to other cloud-first ideas as long as they keep costs down and don’t require babysitting.
