Mixed-Methods Mentor for MCom
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Mixed-Methods Mentor for MCom.
Location: Remote
I am in the last semester of my MCom and the clock is ticking on my research project. The work is largely drafted, but I am still uncertain about one critical piece: selecting the most suitable research design. My study will combine both qualitative and quantitative strands, so I want to be absolutely confident that the mixed-methods framework I choose is rigorous, defensible, and a seamless fit for my objectives.
What you'll do:
• A clear, step-by-step discussion that helps me compare the main mixed-methods designs (sequential, concurrent, transformative, etc.) against the aims of my study.
• Guidance on how the chosen design will shape data collection tools, timing, and integration of findings.
• Short review sessions—preferably over Zoom or Google Meet—to fine-tune any revisions my department requests.
Skills: Research, Technical Writing, Editing, Research Writing, Qualitative Research, Academic Writing, Data Analysis, Data Collection
Budget: $1500–$12500 USD

I am in the last semester of my MCom and the clock is ticking on my research project. The work is largely drafted, but I am still uncertain about one critical piece: selecting the most suitable research design. My study will combine both qualitative and quantitative strands, so I want to be absolutely confident that the mixed-methods framework I choose is rigorous, defensible, and a seamless fit for my objectives.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A clear, step-by-step discussion that helps me compare the main mixed-methods designs (sequential, concurrent, transformative, etc.) against the aims of my study.
• Guidance on how the chosen design will shape data collection tools, timing, and integration of findings.
• A concise methodology chapter (or detailed outline) I can slot straight into my dissertation, fully referenced to current literature and aligned with MCom academic standards.
• Short review sessions—preferably over Zoom or Google Meet—to fine-tune any revisions my department requests.
I already have my problem statement, objectives, and tentative instruments drafted, so you won’t be starting from scratch. If you have supervised postgraduate research before and are comfortable with mixed-methods thinking—and can keep explanations practical rather than purely theoretical—I’d love to collaborate.
