The centerpiece is a traditional geometric pattern; I have several reference photos that capture the exact look and proportions I’m after, and I’ll share them the moment we start.

I’m creating a 28-inch round medallion that will be carved on a CNC machine, and I need a clean, ready-to-cut STL file to drive the process. The centerpiece is a traditional geometric pattern; I have several reference photos that capture the exact look and proportions I’m after, and I’ll share them the moment we start.
Here’s what will make the file a success:
• True 28-inch (711 mm) diameter, fully watertight STL with no non-manifold edges.
• Consistent relief depth appropriate for wood carving so the details hold up after machining and sanding.
• Clear separation of layers or levels in the geometry if the pattern calls for it, making tool-path generation straightforward in VCarve, Aspire, or similar CAM software.
• Delivered ready for a quick test import—if it slides straight into my CAM package without errors, we’re good.
I’m happy to give prompt, detailed feedback and can hop on a quick call to walk through the reference images and desired carving depth. Minor tweaks after the first draft are expected and welcomed so the final model matches the traditional aesthetic perfectly.
