We are looking for a creative, reliable and energetic social media video editor to help turn raw BBQ videos into strong Instagram and Facebook content for Papa T’s Aussie BBQ.
Papa T’s Aussie BBQ is fun, bold, real and full of personality. The content is about smoked meat, BBQ tips, flavour, humour, family, mateship and proper backyard Aussie BBQ energy. We do not want boring corporate videos. We want content that feels alive, engaging and makes people hungry.
We already have the raw video footage. Your job will be to take the videos and turn them into polished, entertaining and social-media-ready content.
This may include:
• Editing raw BBQ videos into short-form reels
• Cutting out dead space, mistakes and boring sections
• Adding subtitles/captions
• Adding titles and text overlays throughout the video
• Adding music where suitable
• Adding sound effects where appropriate, without overdoing it
• Creating strong hooks at the start of each video
• Making the video feel energetic, fun and easy to watch
• Formatting for Instagram and Facebook
• Uploading or scheduling posts to Instagram and Facebook
• Writing simple captions and hashtags, if required
• Suggesting better ways to structure future videos
The content will include BBQ cooking, smoked meats, behind-the-scenes footage, recipe-style videos, product-style clips and personality-led content.
We need someone who understands short-form social media, not just basic video editing.
The right person will know how to keep attention in the first 3 seconds, use captions properly, add punchy titles and make the content feel native to Instagram and Facebook.
