I am looking for an experienced Android/AOSP + hardware engineer located in China, preferably Shenzhen, to help develop an Android-based DTV box.

The product is an Android TV/DTV box, preferably supporting DVB-T2 or DVB-T. The developer should understand how Android hardware boards are designed, how chipsets/modules are selected, how the BSP/AOSP is prepared for the board, and how to work with Chinese component suppliers or board factories.

1. Android platform / AOSP / BSP
2. Android hardware board design and China electronics manufacturing/marketplace
The product is an Android TV/DTV box, preferably supporting DVB-T2 or DVB-T. The developer should understand how Android hardware boards are designed, how chipsets/modules are selected, how the BSP/AOSP is prepared for the board, and how to work with Chinese component suppliers or board factories.
The ideal engineer should have experience with:
1. AOSP build system, Android BSP, device tree, kernel, bootloader, HAL
2. Android TV box or set-top box development
3. Android board bring-up
4. Hardware design review for Android-based boards
5. SoC selection for Android media/DTV devices
6. DVB-T / DVB-T2 tuner/demodulator integration
7. HDMI, USB, Ethernet/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, IR remote, audio/video interfaces
8. Working with Shenzhen electronics market, PCB factories, module suppliers, or ODM/OEM vendors
9. Debugging hardware/software issues during board bring-up
10. Preparing firmware images for production
What I need from you?
1. Working AOSP source. You will need to upload the source code to my repo. The source should be fully available to build by myself.
2. Hardware schematic and PCB design. The hardware design should exactly match with the prototype.
3. Working prototype.
What is the final goal?
I download code from repo and build, I flash the image to the prototype board and verify it works. Regarding how to test DVBT/DVBT2 will be next step.
