Location: Remote
I’m preparing to start construction on a new residential build and now need a full set of working drawings. The scope covers the entire house, so every room and service run must be represented. What I’m after goes beyond a simple layout: each floor plan should include clearly coordinated electrical and plumbing information that a contractor can pick up and build from without guesswork.
You are free to work in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD or another comparable BIM/CAD platform, as long as the final files arrive in both editable (DWG / RVT) and PDF formats. Dimensions must be metric, coordinated and cross-referenced where fixtures or fittings overlap. Please detail outlets, switching, breaker locations, pipe sizing, fixture schedules and any riser or schematic diagrams needed to keep trades aligned.
Consistency of dimensions and levels between floor plans and any sections you include
Legible placement of all electrical symbols and plumbing annotations
File organisation that allows layers to be switched on and off easily for printing
