Content & layout
My outline includes a balanced spread of coloring pages, age-graded puzzles, short storytelling activities and other interactive educational content. I’ll provide the general theme and learning objectives; you’ll structure them into chapters that flow logically from the youngest to the oldest readers.
Illustration style
All artwork must be realistic rather than cartoonish or abstract—think bright, friendly characters and objects that still keep correct proportions and detail. Illustrations should reproduce crisply on standard print-on-demand stock.
Format & technical specs
• Final file: one high-resolution, print-ready PDF (CMYK, with bleed)
• Secondary file: a web-optimized PDF for digital distribution
• Page size and margins: I’ll confirm exact trim size; please design with bleed and safe zones in mind
• Any editable source files (PSD, AI, or equivalent) kept neatly layered
Timeline
Once we confirm the full concept and rough page plan, I’d like the completed PDF within 10 days, including a quick round for final tweaks.
If you have experience combining educational content with engaging visuals for kids, and you’re comfortable managing layout, illustration, and pre-press formatting, let’s talk through the storyboard and start as soon as possible.
