Our team is standing up a dedicated SQL Server 2022 environment and I need the DBA work handled end-to-end. The scope covers:
• Clean installation and configuration of the SQL Server 2022 engine and all required services.
• Baseline performance monitoring, then ongoing tuning—index strategy, query optimisation, and server-level adjustments—to keep response times consistently low.
• A documented backup and recovery plan with test restores that prove RPO/RTO targets are met.
• Hardened security focused on user access management (role design, least-privilege enforcement) and comprehensive audit logging activated and validated.
Deliverables are the completed server setup, scripts and documentation (PowerShell/T-SQL where relevant), plus a short runbook so in-house staff can repeat critical tasks. Work is considered accepted once installation passes health checks, performance metrics sit within agreed thresholds, backups restore cleanly on a separate host, and auditing confirms every privileged action.
