I’m extending an existing Laravel / PHP / MySQL business-management platform and need a self-contained AI bot that can take structured data from my database and turn it into a polished business report. The workflow looks like this:
1. Data is passed to the bot inside my Laravel app.
2. The bot renders a responsive, professional HTML preview in-browser.
3. With one click, that same layout is exported through Spatie-PDF into a print-ready PDF, saved with an intelligent, human-readable file name (e.g. 2024-05-31ClientNamePerformance-Report.pdf).
Key pieces the bot must generate every time:
• Cover, disclaimer, table-of-contents and notes sections laid out automatically.
• Dynamic tables and graphs (bar, line, pie, etc.) that resize correctly in both portrait and landscape pages.
• A branded header and footer on every page with page numbers, date/time and our logo.
• Watermarks plus optional images/graphics dropped into defined placeholders.
• Support for both charts/graphs and inline brand logos without breaking the layout.
• No multilingual requirement; English only is fine.
Technical context
• Stack: Laravel 10, PHP 8.2, MySQL 8, Spatie\PdfToImage and Browsershot already installed.
• Front-end uses Blade, Tailwind CSS and vanilla JS; feel free to suggest Vue or Alpine snippets if useful.
• The solution should plug in as a Service class or Laravel package so updates remain composer-friendly.
Acceptance criteria
1. HTML preview matches PDF output pixel-for-pixel across modern browsers.
2. Naming convention is configurable in a single place (e.g. config/report.php).
3. Tables and graphs render from sample JSON I will supply and adjust responsively.
4. Header/footer and watermark stay intact when switching between portrait and landscape pages.
5. Clear install & usage instructions plus commented code pushed to our private Git repo.
