My current invoicing workbook needs to move from “mostly manual” to fully automatic. The core of the job is to build an Excel-based solution that:
Instantly generates a clean invoice sheet from order data
Pulls and pushes data through reliable import/export routines (CSV, XLSX or Power Query—whatever is most robust)
Performs every total, tax and discount calculation without the slightest manual tweak
On top of that foundation I need two extras that matter a lot to the workflow: switchable custom templates (so I can brand invoices for different business lines) and a live connection to mainstream accounting software. Think of the integration as a one-click post of the final invoice straight into the ledger, keeping GL codes, customer IDs and payment terms intact.

Your deliverable is a single, well-documented workbook or add-in—macros, VBA, formulas or Office Scripts are all fine as long as they run smoothly on the latest Microsoft 365 desktop version. Include clear setup notes and a short test dataset so I can see every feature in action.
Acceptance criteria
1. Invoice sheet produced from sample data in under 5 seconds
2. Import and export both preserve data types and date formats
3. All calculations match my control totals to the cent
4. Template swap changes logos, colours and footer text automatically
5. Successful push of an invoice into the chosen accounting package during hand-off call
Once those boxes are ticked, the project is done.
