Android Document Transfer Tool
Краткое
Freelancer Client is hiring: Android Document Transfer Tool.
Location: Remote
I need an Android-only solution that lets one phone send and receive documents—PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, anything that sits in the Documents directory—directly to another phone over a mobile-data connection. No cloud hand-off, no Bluetooth pairing, just device-to-device transfer that works as long as both phones have a data signal.
What you'll do:
• Source code (Kotlin or Java) plus a signed release-ready APK. A brief README describing build steps and how to extend the endpoint limit rounds things off.
Skills: Java, Mobile App Development, Android, Software Architecture, App Design, Kotlin, Mobile Development, Android App Development
Budget: $12500–$37500 USD

Core expectations
• Simple interface: pick file(s), choose “Send,” and share a short link, code, or QR an opposite user can enter or scan to start the download.
• Solid transfer engine that copes with spotty 4G/5G by resuming, chunking, or any other technique you prefer to guarantee integrity.
• Compatibility from Android 8 upward.
• Clean permissions handling—users should grant only storage and network access.
• Source code (Kotlin or Java) plus a signed release-ready APK. A brief README describing build steps and how to extend the endpoint limit rounds things off.
I’ll test by pushing a 25 MB DOCX and a 50 MB PDF between two mid-range phones on different carriers; the files must arrive intact and open without corruption.
