Freelancer Client is hiring: Retail Inventory Scan & Reconcile.
Location: Remote
Once a year I run a full count of every retail product on my shelves and compare it to the quantities stored in my Clover POS. I’m looking for someone who can handle that entire cycle for me—I have spreadsheet with physical scans to be reconcilied against the exported end of year inventory data pulled from the pos system.
Here’s what the assignment looks like in practice: Reconcile and flag any variances with explaination where possible, and delivered back in a clean spreadsheet that I can review and, if needed, import straight into Clover to update counts and quantify the value of items on hand for that day.
Raw scan file with SKU, description, and counted quantity
Reconciled spreadsheet showing Clover quantity vs. physical count and the variance for every item
A short summary of notable discrepancies (lost, damaged, shrink, etc.) and a balanced file ready for direct upload to Clover

Deliverables

Acceptance criteria
The spreadsheets must align 100 % with the Clover item IDs, and all variances greater than ±1 unit need a note so I can take action immediately.
If you have experience with Clover inventory exports/imports, barcode scanners, and Excel or Google Sheets, this should be a straightforward project. I’m available to walk you through the store layout and provide the current POS export before you begin.
