We're a US-based, venture-backed AI startup. We run a paid research program where small businesses record short videos of their everyday work (cooking, cleaning, repairing, stocking shelves, etc.) using an iPhone they already own. The videos train AI models.
What you'll do:
• We give you a target list of business types (bakeries, auto shops, salons, repair shops, tailors, restaurants, cleaning companies, carpentry workshops, etc.)
• You visit or call these businesses and pitch the program:
• "Record your normal work on your iPhone. We pay you $5/hour, up to $500."
• You help the owner download our app and submit a short workspace video to confirm they're a fit
Requirements:
• You live in a city with a high density of small businesses (not rural)
• Comfortable approaching business owners in person or by phone
• Fluent in your local language + can communicate with us in English
• Each business you sign up must have an iPhone 12 Pro or newer available on-site
• Reliable internet access for reporting and communication
• Nice to have (not required): experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, door-to-door sales, or local business outreach.
• Paid through Upwork. Two components:
• 1. Hourly base: $10/hr for documented outreach time (up to 20 hrs/week)
Nice to have:
• $25 when a business enrolls (downloads app + submits workspace video)
• $25 when they hit 10 accepted hours
• $50 when they complete 100 accepted hours (max)
• That's up to $100 per successful business. Sign up 3 businesses that complete the program and you've earned $300 in bonuses alone, on top of your hourly base.
