Server-Side GTM Audit & Cleanup
Краткое
Freelancer Client is hiring: Server-Side GTM Audit & Cleanup.
Location: Remote
I need a thorough but routine health-check of our server-side Google Tag Manager setup. My goals are very clear: make sure GA4 consent mode is firing exactly when it should, streamline every GTM script for speed, and confirm that OneTrust is handling consent flawlessly across the board. We already run GTM on a server-side endpoint, so any work you do has to respect—and, if possible, enhance—that architecture.
What you'll do:
• Review and optimise each tag, trigger, and variable for performance overhead, eliminating redundancies.
• Provide a short implementation plan for fixes, then deploy and test them in a staging environment before pushing live.
Skills: Testing / QA, Google Analytics, Analytics, Web Development, Google Cloud Platform, Data Integration, Google Tag Management
Budget: $25–$50 USD

We already run GTM on a server-side endpoint, so any work you do has to respect—and, if possible, enhance—that architecture.
Scope
• Audit the existing server container and client containers, documenting anything that could block or duplicate hits.
• Verify that GA4 consent mode is configured, triggered, and logged properly under all consent states.
• Review and optimise each tag, trigger, and variable for performance overhead, eliminating redundancies.
• Inspect the OneTrust integration to be certain consent signals flow cleanly into GTM and GA4.
• Provide a short implementation plan for fixes, then deploy and test them in a staging environment before pushing live.
Deliverables
1. Audit report with identified issues and recommended fixes.
2. Updated GTM container JSON (server and web) reflecting agreed changes.
3. Validation document or screen-captures proving correct consent behaviour and data accuracy in GA4.
4. Post-deployment sanity check one week after launch.
Timeline
I’d like everything wrapped up within a month, including final testing.
If you are comfortable working directly in server-side GTM, GA4, and OneTrust, and can turn around concise, actionable improvements, let’s talk.
