I need a secure, web-based dashboard that lets up to 20 partner organizations keep tabs on what is happening in and around our protected area in real time.
Main view
When any authorised user signs in they first land on a shared dashboard that instantly shows:
• the current threat level, Calculated from a concensus based Threat page/when emergency button pressed.
• a live message stream (it must accept text, file and image drops)
• quick Tab links that jump straight to the individual pages for each organisation
• Current Threat page with indication as to who adds what information - can only delete info YOU uploaded or administrator can delete.
• From this same screen the user can trigger an Emergency alarm that notifies all sites at once (Sound and visual). Speed and reliability here are critical.
Organisation pages
Every partner has its own password-protected tab. Inside that space the user should be able to drag and drop the elements they want all others to see. The components required are:
• Text fields and logos
• Photos and images
Typical data they will post includes staff numbers, deployed law-enforcement units, occupied camps and details of the most recent incident, so the layout must make frequent editing painless. Although we are not requesting data tables or charts right now, I would like the codebase flexible enough to add them later.
Core expectations
– Clean, responsive UI (desktop first, mobile friendly)
– Role-based authentication that keeps each organisation’s edit rights separate while leaving their finished tab public to the wider group once saved
– Real-time messaging layer (WebSockets or similar) so nobody has to refresh to see new posts or alarms
– Admin console where I can add or deactivate organisations or delete messages myself
– Clear deployment instructions so our IT team can host it on our own server once development is done
If you have built multi-tenant dashboards, emergency alert tools or anything in the conservation / security space before, let me see it. I’m aiming to move quickly once I find the right fit, and I’ll mark the project complete when the live demo matches the functions described above and passes a short user acceptance test with two pilot organisations.
