I’m working with a collection of old handwritten notes that have survived the years in only moderate condition—some pages are creased, a few words are faded, but everything is still mostly legible. I need every page turned into a fully searchable Microsoft Word file while preserving the original structure, spelling, and any unique annotations that appear in the margins.
You’re free to combine image-processing tools, handwriting-recognition software, and manual transcription so long as the final Word documents open flawlessly and let me run a standard search (Ctrl + F) for any term. Given the paper wear, I expect light digital restoration—contrast tweaks, de-skewing, and gentle cleanup—before the text is captured.
