Freelancer Client is hiring: Traditional Open-Concept Space Redesign.
Location: Remote
I’m ready to knock out the wall that currently divides my kitchen from the living and dining areas and would like a complete design package that pulls all three rooms together in a warm, Traditional style. The goal is a seamless open-concept space where conversations can flow freely from the new bar-height counter straight into the living room.
A revised floor plan that shows exactly how the wall comes down and how traffic will circulate once the rooms are unified, including clear dimensions for a generous bar and counter area that faces into the kitchen.
Separate bar area where the wall angles in next to the TV.
Move the couch and TV over to the sliding glass door overlooking the pool.

Here’s what I need from you:
• A revised floor plan that shows exactly how the wall comes down and how traffic will circulate once the rooms are unified, including clear dimensions for a generous bar and counter area that faces into the kitchen.
• Photorealistic 3-D renderings.
Changes...
• Separate bar area where the wall angles in next to the TV.
• Move the couch and TV over to the sliding glass door overlooking the pool.
• The existing area where the couch is will turn into a formal seating area.
• The existing breakfast area will be the main dining area.
• Close off the huge opening going into the kitchen so that a couch or sectional can be there.
• A smaller opening to get out to the living room and seating area from the kitchen. Maybe on the side of the counter.
• Remove the double oven and replace with a stove-top, oven combo. Hang a vent from the ceiling over the stove-top.
• Collapse the pantry into a smaller pantry.
I’ve enclosed many picture of the existing areas that need to be modified. Unfortunately, I do not have precise measurements. I'm not concerned about what you use for sketching the work.
Submit a quick outline of how you would approach the redesign along with examples of Traditional spaces you’ve executed before. Once we agree, I’d like the initial concept within one week and the full package within three. Looking forward to opening up this home together.
