Key tasks
• Select an appropriate Windows AMI, size it, and place it in the correct VPC and subnet.
• Configure security groups, key pairs, and any IAM roles so that only the intended ports are open.
• Enable and test Remote Desktop access.
• Apply Windows updates and hardening best practices.
• Install the software I specify after the server is running, verifying each service starts automatically and survives reboots.
• Deliver a brief hand-off document detailing instance ID, region, credentials path, open ports, and steps you followed (PowerShell commands, AWS Console screens, etc.).
The job is complete when I can log in, see the requested software functioning, and have your concise documentation in hand.
