I want every Windows computer in my office to run Tally smoothly and from the same shared data set. Licences are already in place; what I need is a clean installation or upgrade on each machine, the paths standardised, user rights set, and automatic back-ups configured so no one has to think about it again.
Scope of work
• Install or upgrade Tally (ERP 9 or TallyPrime—whichever you recommend) on all Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
• Point every workstation to the common data folder and enable multi-user access.
• Set up basic security roles plus a daily back-up routine to our NAS.
• Test voucher entry, ledger posting, stock movement and payslip generation from at least two machines to confirm perfect sync.
Deliverables
1. Fully operational Tally on each PC.
2. A short hand-over document showing install steps, data path and back-up settings.
3. One remote walk-through session (about 30 minutes) so my team and I can see it all working live.
Acceptance criteria
– Tally starts within five seconds on any workstation.
– A voucher created on one PC is visible everywhere after a refresh.
– Scheduled back-up completes without error.
If an MSI package or scripting speeds things up, go for it. I am also open to future Excel or ERP connectors once the core roll-out is stable. Let’s get this done—I’m ready to give you remote access as soon as you are.
