Оригинал
I’m upgrading an existing ASP.NET Web Forms page so colleagues can browse a Windows-shared folder directly from the browser. The page must:
• Enumerate every file found in the shared folder (and its sub-folders, if that’s simpler for you) and present them in a clean thumbnail view.
• Display the correct icon for each item—at minimum PDF, Excel, Word, and e-mail files—while remaining flexible enough to add other types later.
• Allow a user to click a thumbnail to open the document in-browser whenever the format permits, and always give them the option to download it.
Deliverables
1. A standalone .aspx page with C# code-behind that performs the browse, icon mapping, view, and download logic.
2. A small set of icon assets or an easy hook for me to swap in our own SVG/PNG set.
3. Clear setup notes (e.g., required IIS permissions, impersonation settings for the UNC share, and any NuGet packages you use).
Acceptance will be based on me dropping the page into my existing Web Forms project, updating the share path in web.config, and seeing files appear with their correct icons, openable and downloadable, in a responsive thumbnail grid.
