I have a draft scientific paper that needs to be rewritten into clear, precise academic prose suitable for fellow researchers. The current text already contains the data, analysis, and citations; what it lacks is the polished flow, consistent terminology, and formal structure expected by peer-reviewed journals.
Your task is to:
• Retain every scientific detail while improving readability and coherence.
• Ensure terminology is used accurately and consistently across sections (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion).
• Refine sentence structure and paragraph transitions so the argument builds logically.
• Apply standard academic conventions for the sciences, including third-person style and objective tone.
• Flag any ambiguous statements or unsupported claims in comments so I can clarify before submission.
• Deliver the final manuscript in Microsoft Word with Track Changes enabled, plus a clean version ready for journal upload.
Acceptance criteria: no grammatical errors, no shifts in meaning, and a measurable improvement in readability (e.g., reduced passive constructions, smoother flow). If something must remain unchanged, I will highlight it; everything else should be fair game for revision.
