Design for 2 Website Promotional Campaign Banners
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Design for 2 Website Promotional Campaign Banners.
Location: Remote
We're looking for a designer to create two promotional website banners. We have two sales coming up: first a clearance sale campaign, then an EOFY sale from the 7th to 30th June. Because these promotional sales run back-to-back, the banners need to feel visually distinct from each other, not like the same design with different text.
These banners will be placed on our website directly under the main navigation menu. They are intended for visitors who are already browsing the website, so the design should be clean, professional, easy to understand, and be a suitable bathroom/laundry staging aesthetic. We want a value-focused sale look, not a cluttered bargain-bin or liquidation-style graphic.
Each campaign needs a desktop and mobile banner, so there are four final banner designs required in total. The desktop banner must be 1148px by 286px (height is flexible, ask first). The mobile banner must be 320px by 228px. The mobile version should be properly adapted for the narrower small format, not just a cramped resize of the desktop version, but obviously maintaining a similar look & feel. The mobile banner should also be supplied as a 2x retina export, i.e. an actual resolution of 640px by 456px.
There is a navigation menu item called "Sale Items", and we will overlay a small arrow with JavaScript so it points towards the menu item. Please do not include the arrow in the artwork, instead leave clear spacing at the top of each banner so the arrow can be added later without covering important text or other key design elements. As a guide, allow around 40-50px top safe space on desktop. The mobile versions will not have an arrow overlaid, so the safe-size isn't required but still advised to maintain typical safe-margins in the banner too.
The banner text should be minimal. For the clearance sale banner, something like "Clearance Deals You Don't Want to Miss". For the EOFY banner, just keep it simple to "EOFY Sale" two lines, big text. Please don't include any specific discount percentages, product counts, pricing claims, expiry dates, stock claims or other specifics. If there's any design elements that might require a specific claim or call-out then just ask for approval.
Skills: Graphic Design, Banner Design, Photoshop
Budget: $30–$250 USD

Each banner should include a designed call-to-action button as part of the image, such as 'Shop now'.
Final files must include PNG exports for all four banners and the editable project source files, such as a PSD, AI, XD, FIG, Canva, or equivalent layered source files.
AI tools may be used as part of the design process, but the final work must not be a raw, unedited AI-generated image. The final banners need to be professionally composed and refined with proper typography, layout, spacing, export quality, and mobile readability. AI watermarks, obvious AI artefacts, generation errors, or content credentials indicating an unmodified AI output may be grounds for rejection & dispute.
