We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling and stays ahead of trends in AI-powered content creation. This role involves editing engaging social media content, especially short-form videos (Reels, Shorts), as well as long-form YouTube videos. You should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement, along with hands-on experience using modern AI tools to enhance content.
What you'll do:
• Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Create and edit long-form YouTube videos with engaging storytelling
• Use AI-powered tools to enhance editing, generate visuals, automate workflows, or improve efficiency
• Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for content concepts, formats, and trends
• Stay updated with the latest social media and AI content trends
• Collaborate with the content team to bring ideas to life
• Optimize videos for engagement, retention, and platform-specific performance
Requirements:
• Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., generative video, voice, editing automation tools)
• Strong understanding of social media trends and audience behavior
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new AI technologies
Nice to have:
• Motion graphics and animation
• Thumbnail design for YouTube
• Basic understanding of content strategy and analytics
