I need a SolidWorks specialist who can turn my concept for a vertical sheet-metal filing cabinet—and its matching metal wardrobe line—into fully manufacturable data. The units will be used in office environments, so the design has to survive daily abuse, stay as light as practical for shipping and installation, and remain price-competitive on the shop floor.
Here’s what I already know: hinge style, approximate internal volume, and the drawer/door layout. What I need from you is a production-ready solution that balances durability, weight reduction, and cost efficiency. That means thoughtful gauge selection, minimal weld seams, clever use of bends, and an eye on shared tooling wherever possible.
Parametric SolidWorks (.sldprt / .sldasm) models using the Sheet Metal environment
Flat-pattern DXF/DWG files with bend lines and K-factor noted
Exploded assembly drawings, BOM, and hardware call-outs (slides, locks, handles)
