What you'll do:
• Role 1: GCP System Administrator
• Allocation: Part-Time / On-Demand
• Objective: Secure, harden, and manage the KFCA Big Data Platform (BDP) infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, driving the production environment setup and establishing operational governance.
• Production Hardening & Setup: Configure, optimize, and secure the production environment on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataplex) based on enterprise security standards.
• Connectivity & Secure Agents: Maintain and troubleshoot the existing IPSEC VPN tunnel connecting the Main DC (KSA), Bahrain DC, and GCP VPC. Provision and manage the virtual machines hosting the Informatica Secure Agents.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Design and implement unified logging, monitoring, and proactive alerting mechanisms across the GCP landing zone using Google Cloud Monitoring/Logging.
• CI/CD & Environment Promotion: Define and implement structured deployment procedures, version control, change control, and rollback strategies across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
• Governance & Access Control: Configure identity and access management (IAM), row/column-level security in BigQuery, and set up policy enforcement structures within Google Dataplex.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud System Administrator or Cloud Engineer with a heavy focus on GCP.
• Preferred Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work (SoW):

Technical Skills & Expertise:
Core GCP Services: Google BigQuery, Google Dataplex, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Compute Engine, VPC networking, Cloud IAM.
Hybrid networking (IPSEC VPN, routing, firewalls).
Experience implementing security baseline standards aligned with KSA compliance frameworks (e.g., NCA/PDPL).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform is highly preferred.
Experience & Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud System Administrator or Cloud Engineer with a heavy focus on GCP.
Preferred Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
