We need someone experienced with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 Outlook connectors to build a simple daily reporting app for foremen using iPads.
The app will be used by foremen to complete a Daily Foreman Report from Microsoft Teams. Reports do not need to be stored in SharePoint or Dataverse at this time. The completed report should be emailed automatically through Power Automate.
App Requirements
Build a Microsoft Power Apps canvas app designed for use inside Microsoft Teams on iPads.
The form needs to collect the following information:
* Report date
* Foreman name
* Foreman email
* Client
* Project
* Job number
* Work area / location
* Shift: AM, PM, Night, Other
* Crew size, including employee names and hours worked
* Scope of work / work completed
* JHA completed before work started
* JHA reviewed with full crew
* Crew acknowledged / signed JHA
* JHA updated when conditions changed
* Ability to upload progress photos
* Ability to upload photos or files of the completed JHA
Power Automate Requirements
Create a Power Automate flow triggered when the foreman submits the app.
The flow should:
* Email the completed report to:….
* Use this subject format:
Daily Foreman Report - [Project] - [Report Date] - [Foreman Name]
* Format the email body in clean HTML
* Include all submitted report fields
* Attach uploaded progress photos
* Attach uploaded JHA photos/files
Important Notes
* Reports do not need to be saved in SharePoint or Dataverse.
* The app should be simple and field-friendly for iPad use.
* Required fields should prevent incomplete submissions.
* The crew section should allow multiple employees to be entered with hours worked.
* The app should be tested in Microsoft Teams and on an iPad before final delivery.
* We may later add report storage, dashboards, Teams notifications, or PDF generation, so please build it cleanly for future expansion.
Deliverables
Please provide:
1. Completed Power Apps canvas app
2. Completed Power Automate email flow
3. Instructions for editing the form fields later
4. Instructions for changing email recipients later
5. Instructions for adding/removing foremen or users
6. Basic testing confirmation
7. Any required connector or permission notes
8. Short handoff/training session, if possible
