I need a complete design package for a 3D printer that will run day-in, day-out producing sellable parts in plastic. Think of it as an in-house production workhorse rather than a hobby machine: reliability, repeatability, and fast turnaround are the priorities.
What you'll do:
• Hotend and extrusion system sized for high-flow plastic deposition, plus a heated build plate that can hold temperature for long prints.

I need a complete design package for a 3D printer that will run day-in, day-out producing sellable parts in plastic. Think of it as an in-house production workhorse rather than a hobby machine: reliability, repeatability, and fast turnaround are the priorities.
Here is what I’m looking for:
• A full mechanical layout with all printable and machined components dimensioned.
• Motion system specification (rails, belts, or ball-screws—justify your choice).
• Hotend and extrusion system sized for high-flow plastic deposition, plus a heated build plate that can hold temperature for long prints.
• Electronics schematic and BOM, including controller board, drivers, sensors, and safety features.
• Firmware configuration ready to flash (Marlin, Klipper, or another open-source stack you recommend) with presets for PLA, PETG, ABS, and similar materials.
• Assembly/maintenance documentation clear enough for a small production team to follow.
I work comfortably with STEP files, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360 models, so deliverables in any of those formats are fine. Stress simulations in FEA and a rough costed parts list will help me green-light the build faster.
If you’ve previously designed printers that live on a factory floor, show me—real-world proof of endurance carries a lot of weight. I’m ready to move quickly once I see a design approach that balances robustness and cost.
