We are currently developing a custom cloud-based SaaS software platform through an external software development company and are seeking an experienced independent technical consultant to supervise, review, and audit the ongoing development work.

Project Description:
We are currently developing a custom cloud-based SaaS software platform through an external software development company and are seeking an experienced independent technical consultant to supervise, review, and audit the ongoing development work.
The selected freelancer will act as an independent technical advisor to help ensure that the platform is being developed professionally, securely, efficiently, and in a scalable manner, while also verifying that the development progress, timelines, and technical implementation are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Scope of Work:
The freelancer will be expected to:
Review the current software architecture and overall system structure.
Review and audit the source code and repository structure.
Assess the quality of development work and coding standards.
Review database structure, scalability, and overall platform performance.
Identify potential technical weaknesses, security concerns, or scalability risks.
Review UI/UX workflow and user experience structure.
Verify whether the development team is progressing properly and efficiently.
Assess whether the current timelines and milestones are realistic.
Attend periodic online meetings with the development team when required.
Provide written reports and recommendations identifying:
technical risks,
delays,
quality concerns,
scalability observations,
security observations,
and recommended improvements.
Provide ongoing technical supervision and independent feedback regarding the development process.
Required Experience:
The freelancer should have proven experience with:
SaaS platforms,
cloud-based software systems,
CRM/ERP-style platforms,
software architecture,
code auditing,
QA/testing,
scalability planning,
API integrations,
and technical project supervision.
