Qt UI for Cooking Device

Summary

Freelancer Client is hiring: Qt UI for Cooking Device.

Location: Remote

This project centres on building a polished, responsive QML interface in Qt Design Studio for a consumer-grade embedded cooking appliance. The hardware already runs an embedded Linux stack with Qt 6; what I need now is a visually appealing, touch-friendly UI that guides the user through recipe selection, real-time temperature / time adjustments, and status feedback (progress rings, alerts, completion chimes).

Requirements:

• the brand colour palette, logo assets and icon set

• Your job is to translate those references into production-ready QML components and an .ui.qml project that plugs straight into the existing codebase. Animations should be efficient enough for an ARM Cortex-A7 with GPU acceleration enabled; keep draw calls low and avoid heavy shaders.

• Acceptance criteria

• All screens compile and run in Qt Design Studio without warnings

• Touch interaction validated on a 7-inch 1024×600 capacitive panel

• Integration test passes: JSON messages update the UI and user actions emit the correct signals

• Please include a brief note on any similar Qt-for-Device work you have delivered and your proposed turnaround time.

Skills: Linux, Animation, Software Development, JSON, UI / User Interface, Qt, Embedded Systems, Mobile Development, Prototyping, Visual Design

Budget: $250–$750 USD
