Finalize Silicone Pet Grip CAD

Summary

Freelancer Client is hiring: Finalize Silicone Pet Grip CAD.

Location: Remote

I have a complete set of detailed CAD files for a non-slip silicone strip that fits over a car’s window/door ledge so dogs can plant their paws without sliding around while the vehicle is moving. The concept and geometry are locked; what I need now is an experienced CAD designer who can take these existing files through the last mile and make them truly manufacturing-ready.

The work centers on design-for-manufacture (DFM) refinement for molded silicone: confirming draft angles, undercut solutions, parting-line placement, uniform wall thickness, radii that suit tooling, and appropriate tolerances. If you spot any geometry or material-flow issues, I’ll count on you to propose adjustments that preserve the product’s function and aesthetics. Experience with silicone compression or injection molding is essential, and fluency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable professional CAD platform will make collaboration easier.

Final, production-ready CAD package (STEP and native file format)

A brief revision log highlighting all DFM changes you introduced

Recommendation sheet for tooling and material shore rating if relevant

Skills: CAD/CAM, Solidworks, Product Design, 3D Modelling, 3D Design, Fusion 360, Manufacturing Engineering, 3D CAD

Budget: $15–$25 USD

Deliverables:

• A brief revision log highlighting all DFM changes you introduced
• Recommendation sheet for tooling and material shore rating if relevant

I’ll provide the current CAD files, target material spec, and photos of prototype tests as soon as we start. My expectation is that the final files can be handed straight to the mold maker with zero back-and-forth.

If this kind of finish-line polish is in your wheelhouse, let’s chat and wrap this up.
