I need a fresh fabric texture design that will read as distinctly rough when printed on 100% cotton. My goal is a tactile, visually rugged look—think slub yarn or stone-washed surface detail—but delivered as a clean, production-ready digital file.
Scope of work:
• Create the original rough texture artwork sized for repeat printing on cotton yardage.
• Provide a seamless repeat tile in both layered PSD (or AI) and ready-to-print high-resolution TIFF.
• Supply a simple spec sheet noting repeat dimensions, color references (Pantone or LAB), and any suggested print settings for cotton screen or rotary printing.
The design must align with Fabric texture design → Rough → Cotton as selected. Please keep colors limited to four or fewer so mills can reproduce the effect economically.
I’m open to your preferred workflow—Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or specialized textile CAD—so long as the final output meets standard textile production requirements and can be scaled up without visible artefacts.
Deliverables will be reviewed on clarity of rough texture, seamlessness of the repeat, and overall print readiness.
