Advanced Web Proxy Development
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Advanced Web Proxy Development.
Location: Remote
I'm reaching out because I have a project I think you'd be a great fit for based on your skillset. I'm looking to build a web proxy application, similar in functionality to open-source projects like Ultraviolet (https://github.com/titaniumnetwork-dev/ultraviolet) or Scramjet (https://github.com/MercuryWorkshop/scramjet).
Build a functional web proxy - Something that can handle URL rewriting, content manipulation, and request interception similar to the projects I mentioned above.
Broad site compatibility - I need it to work seamlessly with major sites like Google, Yahoo, and other platforms without constantly triggering their proxy detection systems. The goal is to architect it in a way where sites don't flag the traffic as coming from a proxy in the first place, rather than just trying to bypass their security measures.
I understand this is a complex project that involves service workers, header manipulation, and careful handling of browser fingerprinting. I'm looking for someone who has experience with Node.js, proxy architecture, and ideally has worked with web scraping or similar projects before.
Would this be something you'd be interested in taking on? If so, I'd love to discuss the scope, timeline, and pricing. Let me know what additional details you'd need from me.
Skills: JavaScript, Web Scraping, HTML, Node.js, Web Development, API Development
Budget: $10–$30 USD
